
The fitness professionals at Seattle Athletic Club are among the most highly qualified personal trainers in the industry.
We require all of our trainers to meet stringent certification requirements from respected organizations such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM); and to advance their skills through continuing education. As a result, our trainers have been recognized both nationally and locally, in publications such as Men's Health and Seattle magazine.
In addition to superior education, each trainer has a unique specialization that takes their clients beyond basic exercise programs; Martial Arts, Triathlon, Boxing, Mountain Biking, Water Running, Group Training, Boot Camp to name just a few. Even with all this, we still boast some of the most affordable rates in the city. Our goal is to make our training services available to all our members, not just the select few.
We offer a complete line of complimentary fitness services designed to support your long-term health and fitness goals. Our personal trainers are skilled in performing detailed fitness assessments, functional movement screens and programs designed for all levels of fitness. Complimentary sessions are arranged by appointment only. A complete Health History Questionnaire must be filled out and returned prior to the appointment. You may obtain a questionnaire from the Fitness Desk or by contacting Fitness Director Jacob Galloway at 206.443.1111.
The First 90 Days Program is an individually tailored fitness program, designed to turn your current motivation into a long term, sustainable habit. Research has shown that individuals are more likely to adhere to an exercise program if they can survive those critical first 90 days. Our expert staff help you set up a custom designed fitness program tailored for your specific goals. Unlike most clubs in our region, Seattle Athletic Club personal fitness trainers are not paid on sales commission, and never sell products or supplements. As such, our trainer’s singular motivation is to help you achieve your goals. At other facilities, you may find trainers that are more motivated by pushing products and services you may not necessarily need. At the Seattle Athletic Club, we genuinely care about your health and wellbeing.
